FEATURE: Standing Firm - A New Feature

The production value looks fantastic! Gorgeous cinematography, although I do not see a DP listed in your credits... Did you do it yourself Kyle, or leave it to Jeremy Clayton? Best of luck on getting your film out there!

I also shot the film yes. I had a gaffer who's a pro photographer from Buffalo and that helped a lot working with him. Took some of the weight off. I set my cam, described how I wanted it to "look", and he went and made it happen :)

Jeremy unfortunately was only around about 10% of the filming.

Thanks for the comments!

Hi,

you have a new fan here :)

could you please answer following questions:

1) Wich mic did you use for dialogs?
2) Color Correction Tools?
3) Cam?
4) 24p?
5) Lights?

Thank you

1) Rode NT3 fed directly into the Camera.

2) We haven't Color-Corrected the film yet, but for now (and for the trailer) I've been using the simple Three Way CC in Final Cut.

3) Canon XH-A1 with Letus Extreme (among many other things)

4) 24p yes.

5) A handful of Lowel Lights, a few Arri's, a Mole 2k, and some simple bounce cards. It's what you do with the lights that matters, we didn't have many on this film...they had to be used wisely.

Looks good. I'd like to be involved in Christian entertainment. I'm an actor out of Los Angeles and would like to be notified of future work. Good luck with the film.

Shot a few pickups yesterday...tied up some loose ends after a few small preview screenings.

I'm happy to report as of this morning we can officially finish the film without much worry :) I got my first and only investment check for this film in the mail this morning. Combing that with my own finances I can finally be confident that the film will get completed. Gotta love low-budget filmmaking! :)

This looks great. I saw the trailer and was very impressed, can't wait for the rest. Keep up the good work.

Edit is locked :) Scoring starts beginning of next week, time to start breaking down the timeline and getting the delivery files ready, then Color-Correction begins!
