WOW! I mean, WOW!

Great visuals. Great concept. Not a word spoken the entire time, yet our attention is kept. Very well made. One of the best videos posted on DVXuser. Thank you for sharing.

Was it just me, or were some of the tilts kinda jerky? It coulda been the quality of video on my pc, but I dloaded the big file.
 
Visually this is wonderful; as always, firre does solid work. I too think I got this. Niceely done. Creepy in a good way. A little long for me; I think this could have been told in half the time?

Slim? No jerk here.
 
Some of the opening shots of the wall were jerky. But I'm nit picking and I kneel before your filmmaking abilities.
 
Ahhh!! For some reason the Windows Media Version cut out at 5:19, right at the fingernail bit. I guess I'll download the Quicktime one for when I get home.

Looked amazing though, I think the firre's adapter is much like the one James Webb made at www.enormousapparatus.com , in one of the 'Making of' photos on the website it looks like it.
 
hmm, I tend to not like stuff like this. But as far as this being shot on the DVX, I'm very impressed with the look. I also liked the sound. But if I were judging this strictly on story, I'd say... um, it was just 'okay'. I guess the ending kind of let me down. Had the ending of the piece stuck with the setup (and ended up being more creepy/sinister) I probably would have liked it more. Maybe you could shoot a second ending?

Oh, and great make-up too. But why is this called "Stadium"?
 
The definition is on the website. It means "a phase of evolution" or "a stage of life". Which fits the film well. BUT If I would change anything it would be the name, since most people (including myself) wouldn't know the meaning of "Stadium" and that might distract viewers. You don't want ANYTHING to distract from this work of art you've created. ...Maybe try the name, "A Womb With a View". I'm kidding. :) I'm not saying you should dumb down the name of your film. It's just, unfortunately, a majority of people know "Stadium" as an arena for sports and concerts, so it might help your project to think of a new word that we don't already have an association with. It can be very abstract, a word most have never heard before, or even foreign.

Think about it.
 
Firre, how can we watch all the videos that are listed on your site? Is there an english version of that site?
 
Unbelieveable! How did you do the color/effects work in post? After effects, or your NLE?
 
MAN! I always miss the best stuff! I just dl'd the wmv version... watched it. Amazing. I'm waiting for the quicktime version though so I can see the whole thing... but what I saw, I was captivated.
 
very cool! my only nitpick is that it looked like you had a dirty focusing screen...but maybe that's the look you were going for? I thought my monitor was dirty, heheh
anyways, Awesome job!
