Borrowing from well established action- and spy movie clichés, this is my humble homage to +100 Mio.$ Hollywood action films, but done on a tiny budget. Bring on the rants/feedback/encouragement ;)

Wow. Very nice. How tiny a budget are we talking here?

Two things: you got the cliche of the satellite shot, but the satellite should have fired a laser beam to get the best of the cliche. Second (and here I have to admit that I'm primarily a sound guy) around 2:32 you have a close-shot of the bass drum pedal, but it doesn't line up with the beat of the music. For some reason that knocked me right out of the story.

But very, very nice.

Let´s just say the stock clip of new york was by FAR the most expensive thing here. everything else was calling in favors and planning - i did this as a hobby project. and you are right - the satellite was an opportunity squandered. and you got me with the bass drum petal - didn´t notice until now. thanks for the feedback!

This video sums up the DSLR revolution in one fell swoop. One of the best I've seen since the beginning of the revolution. YOU ARE DA MAN!!!! (or woman?) Either way you ROCK!!!!

Absolutely floored.
Stunning camerawork.
Whatever camera you used, you made it look great.
Can I assume the city shots are done in Maya or 3dsMax, as well as the jets, copters etc?

Thanks. I used about every trick in the book: there´s a lot CG stuff in there (Cinema4D), some city stuff was shot while traveling in Frankfurt and Hamburg, only the new york helicopter-shot is artbeats footage which i paid for out of my own pocket (gives you a clue about the budget...), since I thought it was essential to the project and I wasn´t satisfied with the Cinema4D solution (i tried the GreyscaleGorilla Citykit) I´ll have a BTS online soon including some VFX-Breakdowns.

Looks great, really nice project!! After seeing garbage I feel glad to see something that can motivate me.....

The video was featured on videostatic yesterday and music video reps have started writing mails like crazy. Also, a feature on planet5D will be coming up. crazy times.

Great Job!! You deserve it, now be careful of this industry as they would want you to produce projects like this on the regular and that's where this art form is lost......
