Bit of a placeholder until I get the real logo. Working on cutting the other two.

The idea was to capture what it feels like to wear one.

Well done. Cute girl too. So interested in what a Spirit Hood actually was, I checked out the website to find out more. I'd say it was effective and beautifully composed.

Haha. Effective! I still have my thoughts on your web series. I need to c/p to your thread.

Will do soon.

Nice man! What lenses did you use?

Sigma 30/1.4 that belongs to my friend and a thirty-dollar (30.00) Vivitar 70-210/4.5 Contax Zoom... thought it was the 100-300/5 No named zoom, but was definitely the 70 Vivi.

ISO @/Between 640 and 1250 for all material.

Gonna post another cut with new footage in it here in a moment. Otherwise, any thoughts are welcomed.

One thing that I don't really like (and there's something I don't like about everything I shoot) is that it still doesn't feel like a "spot". It's got the photograph feel to it, almost behind the scenes and I think it's simply because there's no story vehicle at all. Or, perhaps it's because there aren't any wides?

Any thoughts or considerations? Naturally, as I go into a real concept, there'll be plenty of narrative for a thirty and sixty. Just reflecting on the test footage so far.

Wear what? All I saw were those beautiful eyes!
Great work... I'll take two...and one of those hoodie-thingies also! :Drogar-Love(DBG):

Looks good, yeah, but beyond that... to tell you the truth...

It gets boring real quick. At the 10 second mark I was wanting something else, something new, something different. Basically, there was no progression. As you mention in an earlier post, no story. Telling a story in 30 seconds is hard, no doubt, but even a simple story is better than the same close up of a cute girl over and over.

Suggestions for improvement, bring in other cute characters (male and female) to interact with. Doing something fun and goofy. There's a great short shot on the 7D using models having a water gun fight, done in an 80s over the top action style. There is even one cutie wearing a fur hat. Sorry I don't remember the name of this video, but it's worth checking out.

If you can't get a group of models, at the very least I would suggest a hunky boyfriend for her to interact with.

And yes, more wide shots, those in and out of focus closeups get annoying pretty quick.

As per usual, my critiques are harshest when I dig the work. Good luck!

Haha, nothing harsh at all. Everything that I've already stated/known, so no offense taken. Definitely going to establish a narrative for the real spots. Lookin' forward to it.
