Speed of Compact Flash Card + What's in the Box?

Hi There, I was wondering what the speed of the compact flash card I will be buying should be to properly record video. Also, what is inside the 7D box? Cable wise, battery wise, etc.

Thank you!!

I just picked up 2 of the SanDisk Extreme III 16GB 30MB/s200x Cards. The shop that I bought my 7D recommended them.

I have a freakin' generic ProMaster 8GB 305x that I bought from my local shop and the thing works like magic. No dropped frames while recording video and I can shoot continuous 8fps no problem with enough light. Forgot to mention limited lifetime warranty too!

The camera only suggests 8Mbps for an approximate 5Mbps data rate, and a 66x is 10Mbps.

In addition to a SanDisk UDMA Extreme IV, I bought a cheapie Kingston 133x 16Gig non-UDMA on sale for $34. I tested the Kingston with 12 minute chungs of video, and no dropped frames. (At 24fps it was actually 12 minutes 40 seconds.)

The top of the line cards are overkill and suggestions that you need them are designed to separate you from your money.

The only way a cheap card (within specs) won't work is if its counterfit and not really within specs. UDMA and speed matters more for uploading to your computer.

Got a SanDisk Extreme III 32GB 30MB (UDMA, even though it doesn't say so in the card itself) and had no problems so far.
