I'm afraid this suggestion has gone the way of the cheap FW p2 reader, the Cubs winning the World Series, and low price gasoline.

Put me down for a 4 pin to 6 pin. Can a "lock" be made onto the 4 pin side so it won't come out of the camera? Or would the "moulded" design work better. Either way, if you make a cable that won't come out when recording to the Firestore, you will sell as many as you want.

I build something like that in th moment.

It is a break out box with mini xlr conectors.
I made a FW cable with a 6 pin on one end and a mini XLR plug on the other end.

The clip that holds the box slipps into the battery compartment.

With the battery on the HVX it´s pretty snug.

There is also a mini XLR breakout for the headphone.

Now I got to find a way to secure the cable on the Firestore.
I´m working on a box that holds the whole FS, includes also a mini XLR connection, and can be mounted to a standard thread with a swivel.
