GH2 Speccing lenses for a company purchase

I am moving into DSLR territory and am speccing a package. I have been looking at the 14-140 lens package. Can anyone suggest how I can make an educated decision between the 14-140 and the 14-42? The cost is not an issue.

thanks

If you can find it, buy the 14-45mm lens, it's significantly sharper than the 14-42mm at the long end.

I owned the 14-140mm for a few months and then sold it off, and replaced it with the 14-45mm and 45-200mm lenses. The 14-140mm lens is a sharp lens, but for me it's a bit big and bulky.

I would also make sure you buy a few fast lenses, either a good Nikon F mount adapter and some Nikon AI-S manual focus primes, or fast AF M4/3 lenses like: Olympus 12mm f/2.0, Panasonic 25mm f/1.4, Olympus 45mm f/1.8

Fast glass makes this camera such a pleasure to work with.

keep in mind the 14-140 was designed for video. agreed that you should look at the 14-45 instead. there is a reason why there is a price difference. comparing the 20mm and 14-140, the 20mm is terrible at auto focusing for video, 14-140 is alot better. invest in some fast manual lenses
