You know it would be interesting if they couldn't continue with Andy Whitfield and his character just passed the Spartacus name onto someone else. It's not his characters real name anyway, and it would fit with the whole "I am Spartacus" moment from the end of Kubrick's film.

According to wikipedia "Once free, the escaped gladiators chose Spartacus and two Gallic slaves — Crixushttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crixus and Oenomaus — as their leaders." So Crixus will probably be around till the end.

I couldn't agree more, I do wish they do away with that though, but I guess the writers are equal opportunist, but I think there's enough boobs to forgive a swinging cock every now and then....
I've learned to sorta look pass all that unnecessary stuff/cheesiness a long time ago and just stay with the plot and good acting by some of the characters.
Just when I thought they was going easy on the blood splatter came the last episode where Spartacus is having dreams/flashbacks and a Tsunami of blood came flying into the screen...LOL, I literary laughed my ass off.
...Man, did they ever go full out with the nudity on last night's episode.

Yeah you definitely have to give it to the writers. Though I was stunned, I wasn't surprise because they have been ending the episodes with non traditional endings.
I can't believe it was happening when I was watching it. That actress who plays Ilithyia is becoming one of the baddest villains in recent T.V, she planned that out perfectly, Bravo for this episode.
It goes to show, anyone can get the AX on any episode, but I sure didn't see....

Spartacus best bud getting it so soon, especially on the same episode he reconnected with his wife everything was going so great.

Wow, I had no idea the Ancient Romans were so fond of cheese. This show is delightfully trashy and goofy as hell. I think I love it.
