Span clip issue.

So I shot a wedding with my HVX 200a as the B cam and an xh-a1 as the main camera.

I pulled in the footage off the P2 card and it seems there are spaces missing from the HVX footage. I know about the 4GB file limit, but how do I find out where the missing footage is and what can I do to fix it.

I originally transfered the footage to an HDD onsite using host mode and then pulled into a Mac Pro using P2CMS. I run FCP studio 2 and OSX 10.4.9.

I don't use P2CMS, so I'm not familiar with that exact workflow, but did you also get the LASTCLIP.TXT file? That is where incomplete/spanned clips info is. Then from the HDD, did you use Log & Transfer to get the clips into FCS? They should show up as "incomplete" (or something like that). All you need to do is append those clips together on the timeline.

Yes I did pull them in with the log and transfer window. Thats what is weird is there are not red X's on any clips but there is time missing. So either my assistant was not record (which I would be pissed if its the case) or for some reason its not seeing the missing files.
