So I started a post a while back when I heard a beeping sound in my hvx on the audio.
Panasonic was aware of the issue and created a fix. I took my camera in and the modification was done to my camera.
I have run several tests since the fix and can still hear the beeping although it is considerably lower.
So I don't feel the fix is 100 percent, and expressed my concerns to Panasonic. The feeling from them seemed to be that any beeping after the modification is so low that it would not effect normal recording.
Perhaps I am being too anal? I am not sure. I wish I never heard this beeping noise, and again it is perhaps because I am using pro-sony headphones to monitor my audio.
I am a little bummed out to be honest, because I love my camera.
I feel that Panasonic is on the right track with their "modification" but it didn't do the trick 100 percent.
I hope if they improve the modification to fix the problem that they let the people know who already had it done so we can go back in and get the problem fixed 100 percent.
If anyone hears differently please let me know. Again I may just be very anal about my audio. But I do notice a huge improvement in the audio.
