I am on a shoot that recently decided to switch from going with the RED (workflow I am familiar with) for everything, to splitting time with a RED and an HVX (I know, I know...don't get me started), right in the middle of the shoot.
I read through the tutorials and downloaded P2CMS. We are using firewire to the camera for offload, no card reader. So I have a handle on all that.
But my really dumb question is, what setting do I need on the camera to get the mac to recognize it for the transfer? I have firewire enabled in the menu. Is there something else I need to do? I had a guy on set yesterday who set it up for me the first time, and I apparently missed a step.
