Sony word on new 700???

[Chris Johnston]

Has anyone seen anything regarding Sony manufacturing 700s with the hardware/firmware update. (for sale at B&H etc..) NOT send ins for update.

Alister Chapman mentioned they're in the pipeline with a possible release before the end of the year. He can't say much as he's under NDA. If you look on DVinfo you'll see his post.

Yea, I would imagine they'd give resellers as much time as possible to sell out old stock. Just curious how long that would take...
