Sony tapes for XHA1

I need to get some more tapes for my XHA1, I'm thinking of Sony because you can get them anywhere and it's a well known brand. I hear the cons of using/switching different brands and I just want to stay with one. They claim they're good for HD, I only used the HD Canon tapes that came with the camera so far, but can't find them everywhere, plus they are pricey. Any feedback or differences?(opinions) thanks...

If I'm not mistaken, most miniDV tapes are made by the same manufacturer, but don't quote me on that. I have an HV20, and I've used all different kinds of tapes (Sony HDs, JVC HDs, Panasonic generic tapes, and more), and found that most of the HDs perform the same. (Then again, I don't overwrite almost at all, for archival purposes). You should have no problem using the Sony tapes, or, for that matter, any of the tapes designed for HD. They're all pretty much the same, anyways.
