Sounds plausible - with digital image stabilization, there would be much more rendering, maybe too much. Anyone can confirm this?

if you're on the fence about an RX10, it's $937 at adorama for god knows how long. it says open box, but i just got it and it's retail, invoice even shows retail new SKU.

I'm playing around with that combo now. It seems to work well so far. The images coming off the SSD are really sharp and clean.

Wesley sent me a clip to measure rolling shutter: it's the fastest one I've measured so far, at 14.8 ms, right in expensive-camera territory.

Edit: This brings me to an aside. Does anyone have any suggestions for a cheap battery solution for the Shuttle? The built-in battery just isn't cutting it anymore.
