FS7: Sony PXW-FS7 UHD XAVC very quick test (one hour in my garden)

Nice. If you get a chance to shoot some skin I would love to see it. How does the camera feel?

I've got one on pre order. Hope to get my hands on one in a week or so at Sony ProFusion booth here in Toronto.

What lens adapter were you using for the 85? Would love some experienced feedback on the ef to e adapters. Just curious how the FS7 handled it.

I have the camera for one week only, but I hope to have enough time for a serious test and for a side by side comparison with my F5.
The camera body is nice and the images, IMHO, are similar to the F5.

I use two adapters: Metabones (no speed booster) and very good one I bought in Vegas last year (I don't have it with me now and I don't remember the name).

Really cool, nice one :) I think we're probably going to get one of these as our next camera!

Filippo,
Thanks - very pretty footage.
Personally I'm hoping you'll compare F5 HD to FS7 HD with difficult highlights in the shot to show how the FS7 compares. Would be nice to see them in the Slog3 to 709 LUT as well- less grading for you.

THX for sharing.

FS/ SLog3 and filmconvert seems to respond very nice.

Did you use the F5 SLog3 camera preset from filmconvert?
