Hey all,

I made this vid for a Sony HD contest here in germany.

It was a fun shoot on one day. Sadly the final scene with the blood did not run as well as we expected.

Used equipment:

HVX200
Manfrotto 503/525 Tripod
Rode NTG2 - Mic
Worklights

The music was composed by my partner Sinan Kurtulus. He is also the actor.

Feedback is appreciated. I know there are flaws, but hey... learning by doing :)

What was that first BTS picture in LCD? It was like magnetizing his face! Can you explain what that is?

thats focus assist como. enlarges just the center portion to well assist in focusing... makes an external monitor not a requirement with the hvx, just really nice to have.
 
Ah the days where i used to use worklights for lights...oh those were fun days when I didn't know what the hell I was doing, hooray for great times :D
 
having an hvx is helpful but lighting is going to determine what your picture looks like well before the camera comes into play the picture looked really flat. if you can afford that hvx you should look into some basic lighting gear or rent some stuff even with worklights you can get creative and do alot more. keep at it.
