FS7: Sony FS7 purple fringing - any fix?

Quite likely that's what's in your beard shot But just a guess . The candle is red though so I don't know about that . But lenses are different .
So far it's never bit me on paying shoot, and someday I expect to be shooting a night interior wide open and the directors going to say what the heck is that purple ring around the lampshade?

I have a job that requires some of these pictures. Ocean + stormy clouds + sunshine and reflections. So i will try and do some tests on my own in my norwegian fjords asap. Hope my camera arrive this week.

I think Cine EI will be perfect for my project, so i need to know what custom settings i should test this with and compare with Cine EI. Any suggestions to exact settings to test? I dont have the menu in front of me.

The only custom setting I would go near is Slog3 with everything apart from NR off. (I use this for higher ISO)

Hypergammas? Yuk IMO

Yes - matrix off . Though it would be interesting to compare to hypergamma 8 with matrix on .
It is a classic shot for cine EI though
try differeny f stops also . Longitudinal cA is most apparent at 2.8 and below

Too bad i sold my Canon 50 1.2 for the Sigma 50 1.4. The Canon CA`d like crazy at 1.2.

Cam should arrive at the shop today, and get shipped to me asap. It always amazes me how new gear, especially a camera, can make us like children at christmas again.

Its still aliasing very badly, unless the LEDs, if thats what it is, is perhaps twisted around the antenna from top to bottom.

You could be right. Ive never seen a contraption such as that. Found the video in a Vimeo FS7 group while doing cam-research :cheesy:

But i still think the colors detail look a little off. Like its clipping or something. The yellow light in front of the car is rendered nicely.
