Folks;

Though I'm a XH-A1 owner , yet I'm very impressed by the color and video quality of the new Sony EX1 as shown in Letus35 Extreme home page below:

I wish to have custom preset for XH-A1 match EX1 colors .
possible ?:violin:
 
Most of that footage looks very color corrected. The colors of the A1 are just as capable as the EX1. So really its just about tweaking your footage to look rich...thats all. All of those clips had a different look.
 
Some of the best work I've seen from that camera has come from Philip Bloom.

He recently posted his color settings for his Ex-1. I'm not sure how well they would work on an XHA1 but it's worth looking into. His settings are below in quotations.

"Thanks to Bill Ravens. This creates gorgeous images out of the camera and are perfect for grading. Some may want less crushes blacks.

Matrix ...............on
Select................hisat
Level..................0
Phase.................-5
R-G...................75
R-B...................0
G-R...................-18
G-B...................-32
B-R...................-27
B-G...................13

Color Correction..............off

These settings are mainly for the Letus Extreme, when shooting clean, turn the detail off. These are all personal preferences. Am sure I will have a new set next week!"

Again these settings may differ a lot from the XHA1 custom sets, but this should help you to get something similar.
 
Not sure it will work on XHA1 , but it wroth testing , by the way the custom presets I save in the card appears as numbers from 1-12 not titles such B&W ....
I wonder if this normal
