SONY a6500 announced...!!! New sensor, touch screen and IBIS...!!!

So this one is a bit more than a month...B&H says November 30th.
Yeah just saw that...anyone have connections with a sony rep haha. Oh well I'll keep working on those steady hands for using the A6300, now to decide to bring the nebula or sell it for the osmo since its smaller and probably easier to use.

What I need to know is can you use an external monitor and still be able to see the picture on the LCD. The a6300 lacks this feature which is one of the reasons I dumped it

If you switched the camera to output 422 in 4K, it keeps the LCD on in the back. (At least a Ninja Flame did.)

At the 1:07 mark in this video:

...he says that the "high" temperature setting likes you record up to 60 minutes in 4k (in 29 minute chunks) at typical 20 to 30 degree ambient temperature. Seems promising. This video has a quick rolling shutter test at the 0:21 mark:

That RS test was with the RX100V not the A6500.

It's too bad the RX100V doesn't have an external mic input. :Drogar-Mad(DBG):

This seems kind of crazy. It basically seems like they added an option to let the camera go to higher temperatures than before without warning about overheating. How will this work in practice? Cook your lunch while shooting long takes?

I had the a6300 overheat and shutdown while shooting product shots in a room that was 72 degrees. Not continuous. I think this new menu feature is going to make the camera usable.
