Not only is it discussed in three other threads named after it, it is also discussed on the GH4, FS5/7 and 1D XII threads. That's how popular it is.

Im seriously excited about this camera though
 
Just got an a7RII, but i'm shooting in 35mm crop mode. Might as well return it and get this, save $2400! Of course, no IBIS, less buttons. But something i've got to think about.

I don't like the price.
1000$ + That is too much for my taste.
Almost double...
 
And yet, check ChadN's comment: if you're using it mainly for video, it's almost like an a7R II, which makes it very cheap (the biggest differences would be IBIS and controls; yet to see: noise, DR, rolling shutter, autofocus).

Don't forget low light sensitivity, I wonder if it's comparable to the a7s/a7sii/a7rii. If so, I will jump on this and forget about getting a second hand a7s. This is an awesome combo with my Atomos assassin.
 
My guess for low light: a stop worse (because it's not BSI) than the a7R II APS-C, which means (here) that -probably- it starts to lose some detail at ISO 6400, but is still usable at ISO 12800.

That is definitely a generous estimate. I would guess that at for video it is maybe 1 stop better than the a6000, which would put ISO 4000 as roughly the highest usable iso setting before you start getting serious detail loss. ISO 3200 on the a6000 was pretty much unusable to me. If Sony would give us the option to turn the damn in cam NR off, this might be a different story. If the noise performance is any better than this, I will be very surprised.
 
The a6000 was doing line skipping, the a6300 does a proper downsample from a full-sensor readout: it's much closer to what the a7R II does than to what the a6000 does. Except for the BSI. We'll see soon enough...
