So when you used the Voigtlander 25mm in 2.2x crop mode, it was only around 25mm?...
Concerning the lenses I've tested, I checked the Voigtlander 25mm 0.95 a friend has, and it covered with no problem. I even went as far as using a S16 Arri Zeiss 12mm MK3 Superspeed T1.3, a lens with slightly smaller image circle than the m43 lenses, and it covered in 2.35:1, having slightly dark corners in 16:9 (I had to punch in resolve about 8-9% to get rid of it). I also mounted the 14mm pancake and it covered.
...
Not sure I understand what you're asking.
The Voigtlander is a prime lens, you can only use it as a 25mm.
There is always a x2.2 crop when shooting 120fps. I didn't try it on other modes (FF or APS-C).
A 25mm lens is a 25mm lens, no matter what the crop is.
Using a 25mm lens that was originally made for FF in 2.2x crop mode results in an actual focal length of 55mm. I was wondering if this would be different if I use a lens that was originally made for a much smaller sensor like a M43... means, would I get a wider field of view in 2.2x crop mode when I would use a lens that was originally made for a M43 sensor?
So let's talk about FOV here...Forums leave a lot of room for miscommunication. And if I'm not misunderstanding you, I think you might be confusing "Focal Length" with "Field of View". If you replaced the term Focal Length, with Field of View you'd be correct, dstruning. But as jpblack has stated, Focal Length does not change with sensors of different size.
