Good morning everyone,
I shot this TV pilot for an independent producer and am trying to finish up editing it for a public screening next weekend. However, for some reason, when I perform a Quicktime conversion to make a DVD-ROM for the producer, the video does not come out in widescreen any longer, as it had when I'd done the first few QT files. I've tried a few things and even checked the "Preserve Aspect Ratio" field, all of which yielded no results; still the video is stretched to fit the square Quicktime viewer. Any suggestions?
What's stranger is that in FCP, the black letterbox bars (that had been there since I started editing in June, and that are there in all my current SD projects) have disappeared in the canvas, replaced now by two gray bars. I don't know if that has any significance to the matter at hand, but I figured I'd mention it just in case.
I'm sure I must have hit the wrong key or something by accident to have caused this, but I've no idea how to fix it, and this is a time-sensitive matter, since this screening is coming up. My DV projects are exporting perfectly, by the way; it's just this specific project that's not working. Any information would be very much appreciated before me (and this producer of mine) really start to panic.
Thank you all in advance.
Sincerely,
John:crybaby:
