How about deleted threads? There's been 4 so far today... what in the hell is going on? :huh:
 
Even threads created by mods are being deleted.

It's a Delete-a-Thon. I think I'll look for some files to delete from my HD, so I can feel like I'm part of it. :)
 
Looking at the threads deleted, some were political, some were porn, some were duplicate posts, one was beating up and scalding a woman for sport and laughs . . .

The number of threads deleted reflects an increase in inappropriate posts/threads lately.

for the record, i thought my post was funny. nothing worse than anything else i've seen around here.

seems as though some people have earned immunity and others haven't.

oh well.

i still thought it was funny. and not political, and not beating up a woman...

That's part of the problem -- things around here have been getting out of control, and we're trying to do some clean-up. There will be a posting of guidelines going up soon, but until then, yes, the moderators are doing a little moderating...

I think the mods do a pretty good job here... you can be silly, but just don't start taking the piss and respect the other users. It's the only forum I can be bothered to give my ever decreasing free time too.

What's with all the bitching about the moderation lately? It doesn't seem all that different to me. You cross a line, it's gone. That's how it's always been around here.
