Someone help me please

Ok, ive shot a load of stuff on my newly bought second hand dvx100b and i have sony vegas pro 9......I know how to put stuff in the timeline etc, but how do i upload a video to something like youtube or facebook? What exactly do i have to do? I havnt a clue.:badputer:
 
You should visit the Vegas Boards on here as there are a bunch of tutorials to get the best quality for youtube. But I'll try my best to give you the basic.

I don't have Vegas 9 but I assume it's the same method. What you would need to do is to Render your project to wmv. file and then just go to youtube and upload it. It's as simple as that. It just gets complicated when you're trying to do different things. Hope that helps.

Thanks dude. do I have to compress it? I tried uploading a 2 min video of my son to face book and my computer just stalls each time.
 
A 2 min video need not be 320X240 on youtube.

Try to keep your file size to no more than 30 MB per 1 min of video should be sufficient for uploading to youtube. So yeah you should do what you can to compress it. At that file size you should have decent quality at 640x480.
