some recent grabs

Re: some recent grabs

Great shots Neil --

Was that a fish jumping to the right of the dock? I like the eye shot and the bee.

I burn 16:9 dvds all the time. You tell DVDSP to force letterbox and any dvd player will add the bars for you.

Great grabs.

..lol nah, thats a seagull flying off the dock. the pic is really diffused though .. the first 3 are ;)

Re: some recent grabs

soft focus efffect. the untouched grab looks cripser, but not too much. it was so foggy that day that everything was somewhat naturally hazed.

The sharpening and colors on the wasp shot look great. I thought it was a grab from an HD camera when I saw it. Which post software do you prefer to use for editing?

Unbelieveable shots!  I'm glad I saw this thread...  I keep being amazed at the quality of the DVX.  These are unreal, though!  If you had said they were with the SDX900, I totally would've believed you.  I'm impressed with all of them, especially the eyes and the wasp.  Amazing!   :o

Re: some recent grabs

Really nice job on all of the shots. I especially love the close up of the eye. It reminds me of that classic sherlock holmes shot when he is studying evidence for clues.

Awesome quality grabs! Nice work. Loved the last 3. Close-ups are amazing. Last two colors are very vivid.

Iam, you are not a 'loser' haha ;D
