here 2 movies i know of made with the dvx the first bottom out i saw a while back and is what made me want to get a dvx and learned more about the dvx was told about this movie from a guy online who knew the director of the movie , it was a while before i got one but i came out good back then they were just coming out with a and i have b so good thing come to those who wait lol , the second movie is made with dvx also same director made it as the first one its called woods of evil it horror movie , the 1st one bottom out is a urban crime movie that has to do with steal cash to make move from thief, any way they have short trailers on the site , look at them and say what u think let get the talking going

i see 56 viewers but only one comment get with it people dont look and leave , look and say somthing about the films, let ur voices be heard, dont just pick , pick like vultures and look with no comments speak up people !!!!

It's always encouraging to see some low budget DVX features get distribution, thanks for the links. But I don't think these movies are for me, I don't think they show of the capabilities or potential of the camera.

On a different, sarcastic note, I noticed you must've been running short on periods in your first post, or maybe your keyboard was broken. So, here's some of mine: (...........). Sorry, it's just that your paragraph up there was really hard to get through with no punctuation. I mean no disrespect, just giving you a hard time:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)
 
really not showing site for any one to buy chose is urs more though to showcase a filmmaker with a dvx and using a dvx with solid distrbution 2 movies at that, as many on the site here have talked about full features lot have not done any , most a short , not saying i have done one yet either as i havent , but showcasing some on using the dvx and making 2 movies and finding solid distribution, what good is the best dvx film with no one to see it ???

So you're saying if I make an urban horror movie/spanish love story I am bound to get distribution? I think I'll start writing.
 
Sorry man, from what I could see it looks pretty bad. I didn't get very many frames up, but the ones I saw looked poorly lit/shot. It goes to show you what a good DP can do for a film. It looks confusing too, the title cards lead you in one direction while the plot summary is totally different.

And there is quite a list of crap that distribution company has put out. At least they make decent covers.

In all honesty... congradulations to the people who worked on it for the fact that they made it through the whole process of making a feature and getting it out there. But along the lines of showing the cameras potential... I don't think this is a good one.

yea get writing peter, the picture , quality is bad , but my whole point is atleast they did somthing and not talk about somthing , the director made 2 films, many here havent made any ,including my self, and ihavent seen every movie and not al lwere shot with dvx just those 2 i know of and i know of one on there shot with the jvc hd camer ill post the link below, but all the movies im sure arent bad i`ve seen plenty people clips here for movies that werent that great either acting being the critical part that made them stink even though picture quality was good, but atleast this guy his crew these actors made somthing and i dont mean a 20 minute 15 or 5 minute somthing !!!

I'm not going to lie, I really want to see 30 miles. But at 81 minutes, it seems like they must have been driving kind of slow.

well i have not seen it yet, but it is due to me mailed to me from blockbuster shortly. Guess I don't have much to look forward to.....geez
 
the look on november was pretty good the movie was , sh*t and i say again sh*t and a BIG SH*T , all it was hey look over here we did movie with camcorder with a dvx and look u can see courtney cox in this fish bowl come over here and look at courtney cox, the movie won cinematograhy award at sundance though for the DP whos name i forgot but she DP movies for spike lee before, and the black guy courtney cocx has an affair with on her boyfriend is the guy from splinter cell the fbi agent , and he also did a movie with courtney cox husband called NEVER DIE ALONE, which is a good movie people should see starring dmx as drug dealer , from a book by wriitten by a real life dealer /pimp named donald goines, movie was also directed by Ernest Dickerson , spike lee first DP
 
Be sure to check out the DVX feature that's now in distribution "Predator Island". That movie made me want to eat my camera and throw myself from a bridge.
