Some more SGPro rev.2 footage

When you're suddenly unemployed and feeling a little sick you tend to get
bored and the sgpro was looking lonely on its shelf. So it's just me, my room....my
guns...again, you know :) I also just got film clutters so I had to test it for
the first time, and I went a little overboard with them, sorry. It was shot with the dvx-100 with a pentax 55mm lens at f.1.2 and f.1.4.

ok smettli, that was quite disturbing, but in a good way. I've never heard b.o.c set to such footage before. I always like the footage you post.

Can you tell me firstly, is it a PAL DVX you use, and what settings you use. And secondly, how do you layer those film burn effects on the footage to make it look natural? I have the artbeats footage but i could never work out how to implement it over the footage. Do you use after effects? can you run me through the process?

thanks

Hey dudes.
I run the camera on prettymuch standard f6 scene, but I have the gamma on "normal" so it makes the overblown whites blend in more.
I always use premiere(in the process of learning after effects), and when i used
the film clutters I just pull one "clutter" clip down on video track 2 or 3 over the
the footage and I click the effects tab for the "clutter" clip and set the "opacity"
to about 50, so it gets transparent. That's it.
cheers!

What kinda gun is that? and thanks for the info on capturing and output settings, very helpful, cheers

Thanks guys.
The gun is NOT real, I would never load a real gun inside my house :)
It's a modelgun where you load up every realistic looking bullet with a little ignite capsel, so you have to reload the bullets everytime you have fired them. It's quite a hassel, but it doesn't make any loud noise at all which come in handy if you're
filming inside. I got it from; http://www.modelguns.co.uk

Smettli-

Your footage looks effing awesome dude. To all that doubt the SGPro, I call shenanigans! Cool edit, as well. You make me proud to be a DVX user.

Oh, and:

1. Ninjas are mammals.
2. Ninjas fight ALL the time.
3. The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people.

Real Ultimate Power FTW.

damn, and I thought that was a real glock!

Anyone used any of their models before for props in a WW2 film? Looks great and works great! A pity it's not legal where I'm from.

That looked great!
It nice to see some nice footage from the DVX!
That SGPro seems like a winner. Wayne has got a wicked product, and it seemed that you utilized to the max!
