All of these were done this past week, my last week home for summer.read description
the two sunset timelapses were about 3 hours each, between 3k and 4k photos
i can provide details


Question/comments welcome/any criticism welcome
Color banding is always an issue for vimeo
 
Looks like you keep the iris locked down in all of these...correct? Ever try leaving it on auto-exposure? Or auto ISO? or auto Shutter? Trying to figure this out for myself, too, and wanting to do stars at night all the way through to sun-up.

I do. and i have never tried auto exposure/iso/or shutter. its something that i think can be attempted. i had thought i heard somewhere that autoexposure makes the image flicker. have you experimented with that at all?
