Some Canon 5D mkII B&W Shots (Plates for Driving Sequences)

Hey everyone! During the production of For the Love of God or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Apocalypse we ended up shooting some very nice plates that might be useful for some of you all if you are doing green-screen driving sequences. At the time, we thought these sequences would end up being in black and white, so we shot them in black and white mode. We may end up using some of them with false-color, however we shot...a lot of footage, and it really turned out beautifully, all shot on a 5DmkII with a 50mm f1/.4 (we may have also used a 35/2 - I can't remember) so the bokeh is really beautiful. The sequences are all nighttime and vary in length.

All shots take place in Boston/Cambridge, MA.

I have about 20 clips of varying length available, they are all B&W and vary quite a lot in terms of length. Some may require some stabilization in post, but a little bumpiness is not necessarily a bad thing for driving plates.

Anyhow, if any of you are interested, please PM me and I will offer the clips to you under a creative commons attribution license at no charge.

If you would like exclusive use of a particular clip, I would be willing to sell you those rights for any clip where I have not already granted a creative commons license to someone else.

They are all 1080/24. All B&W (we came up with a great look in-camera) and they really do look lovely. The below images have zero post processing.

I cannot thank this community enough for all we learned during the beginnings of the DSLR video revolution and for the many great friendships we created along the way, I would never be able to repay the community for all the help we picked up, but this is at least a very small gesture I can offer and a way of saying thank you to so many of you who helped us along our journey (which is now 90% complete, amazingly!)

Here are a few screen grabs.
