C200: SolidPod issues?

I bought mine after Armando reported that after months it was the best thing he ever bought for his C200.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks now.

No glitches so far.

I did a "quick" test a few days ago and recorded 2 hours 15 minutes of RAW, then more than another hour of RAW on a different drive.
 
Yes! Thank you, I've seen it and even subscribed to his channel. But I always respect the myriad of actual user opinions on dvxuser. One person will say it's better than sliced toast, the next will say it didn't work for me, and this is why, etc....

But great to hear it's worked flawlessly for you. I consider that higher praise than either an Amazon review or a YouTube opinion. Thanks.
 
I have not tried it for myself but have heard word of mouth from two other C200 owners that they are using the Solid Pod and love it. I really dislike how much the round, fairly beefy cable puts so much pressure on the door. If the makers fitted a flat cable, I think I would try it. But for my needs, more cheap CFast cards are better. 34 minutes per card is FINE. I don't need to shoot two hour speeches though. I usually change the card once per interview, big deal, not a problem for me.
