"Soldiers of Necker" WWII Short Film

This is a 30 minute WWII short film written, produced, and directed by 19 year old identical triplets: Dylan, Jesse, and Miles Stipek of Seattle, WA.

We made this with an extremely low budget, and submitted it to the all new National Film Festival for Talented Youth back in March where we won the audience choice award for BEST SHORT FILM out of 73 youth-made movies nationwide and abroad. We were also fortunate to work with multi Emmy Award-winning film composer Carl Johnson for the original musical score.

Having never been to a film school, the three of us have been getting a lot of praise. Now, the film isn't perfect; and if I were to go back and fix some stuff I definitely would. But overall, we were happy with the results. And if any of you are in the Seattle area, you can watch it on VIDEO ON DEMAND through your Comcast subscription under "Free Movies" and "Youth Film Festival."

Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did making it. Please leave your comments! :dankk2:

Yeah that was good. I didn't like the beginning of it but once the title appeared and it had the soldier running it looked awesome.

Hah! Yeah, we found that out right after it showed. Ah well.

Thanks Connor! I always enjoy seeing your work as well. And yes, some of the films are on Comcast until September. They actually goofed on ours and accidentally stuck up the rough-cut temporary score version of the film with copyrighted theatrical music. It was intended for Carl in the scoring process; I have no idea how they obtained that version... but I emailed the festival and Comcast about it. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
