PC's are not like they use to be even 5 years ago. 64-bit now and pretty stable OS & software. Just don't use it to surf the internet, install MS Office, or any other programs that will corrupt the system registry and slow the machine down and/or result in unrecoverable data and you should be fine. :huh:

I am. I'd eat my own arm rather than work on a PC. Still can't fathom FCP X though...

What kind of high end do you edit?

You don't need to go PC. Avid runs on Mac and so does Smoke and so will Lightworks soon.
