C300: Soft Case for C300

I'm looking for a good soft case like CineBags makes that I can put the C300 with handle and LCD attached inside the bag. I don't want to break it down every time I put it away. This is for easy transporting to shoots that don't require air travel. Basically van to site. If it holds a few lenses thats even better. What are you guys using? I don't want a Pelican case since it would have to be a deep one and that will get big and heavy.

I bought the Kata OMB 74 from a vendor on ebay ( I took the link out as not sure about site advertisers, but if you search ebay for Kata OMB-74 it should come up) for a good price and he posted it to me in France. Its a really nicely made bag and the C300 fits in nicely fully assembled even with my matte box fitted. I will try and get a few pics uploaded for you.

Thanks Steve!

Try to find something from THinktank. I've had so many bags and cases over the years and I feel that Thinktank is just the best of the lot.

I like Think Tank too. I have two bags from them. Not sure if they make taller bags since they are designed more for smaller cameras or DSLR's.

I second the OMB-74. I am able to fit the C300 with handle, LCD and a 17-55mm lens attached, and there is still room for a 70-200mm, batteries, charger and a 15" macbook pro. The OMB-75 (a friend has one) has even more room, but it's quite a bit bigger. I also have an OMB-72. That will just fit the camera, handle, lcd, and a short lens (very tight), plus it will fit in many overhead compartments.

The Kata OMB (One Man Band) series is discontinued, but you can still find a few on Amazon.

I have had good luck with the Petrol Dr's Bag. It holds alot, even too much if you let it. It will just barely close over the top handle of a Tilta cage and I believe the Redrock Cage.
Right now I cant remember which size I have, but I think its the Medium.

I tried the filmtools c300 1510 pelican case. It was great for travel but not getting enough use day to day. Its for sale now if anyone is interested.

Pictures of the C300 in the OMB 74 bag complete with an attached bottom plate and a short sony mic, plenty of space for all the extras

What baseplate is that Steve Benjamin? I have a few of those Manfrotto quick release plates and would love to have a small plate to quickly mount it to rods.
