Lots of scenarios could be two or more guys trying to figure how to deal with women, with a girl problem, or understanding women period. - in the context of someone's loving or lack of loving relationship.

Hey Jack, thanks for the encouragement. This kind of pushes me to try one this round actually. The "understanding women" thing gives me some ideas because we all know that is an impossible task.

You don't sound unpopular. You just sound pretentious and self-important. Here's a thought. Instead of abusing us with the endless folderal that comes out of your mouth, why not actually make such a movie?

I bet you could even get Barry and Larry (heh heh, "Barry and Larry") to sign off on love of an inanimate object as long as it was a crazy love or magical realism - i.e., not just a guy that really enjoys taking his boat out on the weekend, but that thinks his boat is real and has soulful conversations with it - something that was a deeper exploration into the nature of love and attraction and / or projection.

For example there's an indie out with Ryan Gossling that's getting good press wherein he's in love with a blowup doll which he thinks is real.

I'm guessing you got confused because Tom Hanks loved a Mermaid and spent a lot of time in dept. stores in Big. :D

vaguely similar concept though Lars and the Real Girl" would be the more "erudite" of the two since it's motivated by psychology and could really happen as opposed being motivated by magic.
