So erm..

[D_and_G]

Am I the only one who wants MUSICALfest ??? There has been a lack of sequins for far to long on dvxuser.
It also encompasses all genres - ActionMusical, ScifiMusical, Heromusical, Westernmusical, Shrimpmusical, Gumbomusical...

I know TC is with me. Glitter and musicals are his favorite pastimes. I'd also rather watch 80 musicals than 80 ninja films. And I'd serve choclatinis and appletinis while I watched them too. C'mon peeps, let's reinvent the musical, dvxuser style.

My problem with 48 hour fests is that they are readily available and even a bit over done. Also, for me to figure out aspect ratio- compression-rendering and uploading of a film for the internet it takes me at least 48 hours. I would finish the film and then miss the due time by like 3 days.

Thanks Barry.. god poo damn poo poo poo east poo mother poo poo.

ha haha.

how about a Romantic Action? ha ha hah. True Romance style.

I like it! Romance Action Adventure, like "Romancing the Stone."

We'll call it Fabio Fest!

[Brandon Rice]

Romantic Action= Mr and Mrs Smith?

[Larry Rutledge]

How about Slient-SciFi-Western-Documentary Fest?

[Ben Sliker]

FilmNoirFest
ShakespeareFest
WesternFest
NinjaFest

shakespeare would be awesome, either a literal translation or you can take the same theme, like west side story did with romeo and juliet.

that being said, how about ghostpiratehookerfest?

[VersuS]

WesternFest!!! Let's see you all dress up as cowboys and cowgirls!!! And we can get Mark to make us some really cool Digi-Horses to ride on....

yoohooooooo

[Jazz Dog]

Mockufest is my vote.
Mockumentaries are fun and easy to do but hard to do well.
Who has the most clever idea?
Who?

[Matt Sconce]

Kung Fu is my vote.

[mameragex]

Oh YEah!

[GenJerDan]

Spec commericals might get some mfrs upset. But fake products...yeah.

But y'know they'll all turn out to be spoofs.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Oh. And get your mind out of the gutter. That's an abbreviation for "manufacturers".

[snodart]

My votes:

Western Fest
or
Comedy Fest

[TimurCivan]

A "no effects" fest like comedy, romance or drama would be good to let the filmakers focus on the essence/story and not on the wow factor. I vote for such a fest.

COMEDY!!!!! that will seperate the mene from the boys. cause you gotta be good writer.

[Domino Harvey]

Allright...so maybe...bump?

I mean Its almost the end of the Horrorfest. And Im abit ...something for a new festival. So...any feedback on...a...new....thingy...ma..bobby?

[Cynic821]

[VersuS]
