snowboarding!!!!!!

Nice

Nice

Wow, that looks really good. Did you do all of the camerawork yourself? If so, any tips on filming snowboarding?

Thanks, and great job,

Jack

yea i was just wondering when filming stuff like this, or skateboarding and weddings, do you use some automatic settings or how do you move around so much and keep things in focus and white balanced so quick?
and how the hell did you get such good audio in the back of a moving truck?

1. Auto Focus

2. He clearly used auto iris, also. Notice how when the footage goes into the trees, it automatically adjusts to the darker environment.

3. That's not good audio, it's stock from the camera.

Ya that auto iris caused a few shots to be completly blown out. Like shooting most anything else you never want the camera in auto focus or auto iris.

Luckily the dvx has two built in ND filters to use which are a snowboard filmers best friend.

That was very very very well done! For an on camera mic, that was great audio. Very nice picture too. Did you have a mini35?

manual setting are the best, i know i use em when filming skateboarding which is what i mainly do with mine.
