how does the DVX do in cold weather?
im looking to make my friend a "Sponsor Me" tape and am a bit worried
I took my old optura 50 to the mountain one day and almost killed it being below 32
it froze up and was lagging for days, still a bit off at times

It's not snowing. This was a rail jam where they took a bunch of ice, shaved it down to make snow underneath one rail.

The DVX is fine in cold weather, but you have to be careful about moisture getting into the camera. I believe it will simply stop filming if too much moisture gets into the camera.
