Not sure if this is my camera, me or the way the camera operates. I cannot, for the life of me, get consistent smooth zoom starts / stops. No matter how slow I turn the zoom ring there is a sudden start and sudden stop. If I turn it too slowly, there is a constant start / stop effect. Once it starts I can keep it smooth but I was under the impression using the zoom ring would give me silky smooth starts and stops on my zoom.
