What percentage of DVX User smokes?

Are you trying to quit?

Are you considering it?

Did you quit?

I watched my grandfather die of emphysema when I was 10. That was enough to guarantee that I'd never smoke.

Capt - you keeeel me.

Don't smoke, both parents did but we kids didn't. Yes I tried the cigs out of their packs, never ever could understand it as a child. Think about this, my parents smoked so much, clouds of smoke loomed in the living room. We had to paint the ceiling time after time because it turned brown. I know, throw up people, that was my life.

I did the Cigar thing for a few months, (there are some tasty ones out there) but noticed how it was having an impact on my health. And quit.

Were you inhaling?

I smoke cigars and my pipe, without inhalation. I enjoy it, tasty, relaxing. It's very good for contemplating my script ideas. I've found no ill effects on healthy.

But I think your poll probably meant if anyone smokes cigarettes. Nope, wouldn't touch them.

Cigar smoking, even without inhaling, is known to rapidly increase ones chances of getting oral cancers(lip, mouth, throat, and tongue) as well as esophageal cancer. It also increases chances of getting heart disease, COPD, and emphysema.

Not passing judgement, just the facts. I am trying to quit smoking myself and it is the hardest thing for me.

I smoked from age 16 to 29. quit cold turkey. hardest thing i ever did and could not have done it without my girlfriend in my corner.

Ditto!

There are still plenty of risks involved.

Quit smoking again about a year and a half ago, 2+ packs a day to nothing, cold turkey... Since then I have occasionally smoked a cigar for celebration but that is it.

Only miss it on long road trips but hate the smell of it at this point.

My God! Did we have the same parents?I can still remember being a child from the 70's, and being crammed in the back of the station wagon with 4 or 5 siblings listening to Elton John's Philedelphia Freedom blare on the radio as Pall Mall smoke infiltrated the car and our lungs...At the age of 7, I proabably second hand smoked apack a day ....:cheesy:

Never even tried...

I almost felt like moving out of the house when I was 8 cuz my mom smoked and I could NOT stand it!
