SmallHD v. TV Logic

Is the SDI smallhd version really worth the extra $$$. Sometimes I think using the HDMI is more then good enough, but then again i'd like to future proof myself.

This thread seems to have gone flat over the past few months . . .
Have there been any notable changes to either monitor that would "tip the balance" in one direction or the other?

Thanks for all who contributed to this thread.

I think TVLOGIC has "tipped the balance" toward their larger new 074W 7" model . It is feature loaded and only weighs 1.4lb compared to the 3lb 071W it replaces. I think it may cost $2500, which is almost 2x cost of the 5" monitor : ( I own the 071W which is a little too heavy to mount on a DSLR, but the larger screen is a plus for me over the 5' screen.

Totally agree, the 074W is amazingly lightweight, love the direct access buttons/knobs(like the 071W), plus 5 function buttons/knob, incredible resolution, non-glare panel, much better color than the 5.6" TV Logic or Small HD, as good as the TV Logic 17" models. To be really lightweight, you could remove the yoke. It's pricey, but it's a monitor that could serve many cameras well for a long time. I expect to get one for extended testing soon. The pre-production model really looked great!
