SmallHD Monitors Kick Butt!

I just bought this one, works great !

However - when you put it into "rec" mode on the T2i the aspect ratio changes on it, making the screen stretched horizontally. Once you stop recording, it changes back to the default screen, and everything is fine. It does NOT affect the recorded footage, but it kind of annoying.

If anyone has a work-around for this, I'd appreciate knowing what you do.

However - that said, this is an amazing monitor for less than $200. Sure those smallhd monitors are nice, but that is 4x the price of this model.... and we all know that in 2 or 3 years, many big manufactures will be popping those out.

In theory, Samsung, HP, Dell will be making these soon, with DSLRs getting much more popular. I'm guessing that a small monitor like this within 5 years should be $99 just like the Mimomontors are ( I just purchased one for $99 and it's amazing ! )

Mimo Monitors are 100% USB powered and are for computer used - not for camcorders or DSLRs, - just wanted to clarify that. I bought the Mimo so I could have an extra screen on my laptop, so I can have 2 apps 100% visible all the time.

Anybody try this one? http://www.coollcd.com/619ah-7-inch-tftlcd-vga-monitor-no-touchscreen-hdmi-new_p634.html
