SmallHD DP4 Monitor and the AF100

I am trying to get my SmallHD DP4 Monitor to work with my AF100.

I have it connected by an HDMI cable, but the monitor just says "No Sync".

Has anyone been able to get this combination to work?

Quick question: have you set the input to HDMI in the DP4 menus?

Some times it can be tricky.

Just asking in case this might be it.

Thanks for the ideas.

I have tested my hdmi cable from my camera to another production monitor and it works great. So I know the cable and the camera are setup correctly.

I just was wondering if someone could confirm that they have gotten the SmallHD DP4 to work with their camera.

Thanks, I have already been in touch (through email), but they didn't seem to have any ideas other than to make sure I am using the correct port (I am).

I just wanted to test everything, before I have to send the monitor back as faulty. Should I call support, is there something we should try and walkthrough together?
 
I noticed that the monitor needs to be turn on before the camera with the GH2 so you might just want to try to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in while both the monitor and camera are on. Havn't tried the DP4 with an AF100 though, only a DP6.
 
Yep, just tested it with an AF100 and DP4. If you turn on the AF100 THEN turn on the DP4... it will pop up as "no sync". Turn on your monitor first, THEN turn on the Af100... see if that works. Also, one time my DP6 got messed up while switching from an SDI to HDMI. I had to do a monitor "factory rest" to fix it. you might want to try that as well.
