Hey all,


Just finished up my most recent short film, titled "Small Talk." Comments and criticisms are more than welcome!

What do you do when you're forced into a situation where you have to small talk with someone you don't like?

In the table conversation scene, you broke the 180 degree rule pretty badly. If you look at it, both characters at the table are looking the same direction, instead of at each other...

Also, I'm not sure if you cropped 2:35:1, but if you did, you might be able to fix some of the headroom issues on the guy in the red shirt... it seemed like his head was getting cut off oddly throughout the piece...
 
Thanks, mate! Yeah I realized the issues...the audio and camera work I was not happy with. I think it was just a bad day. Sadly, reshooting wasn't really an option so I had to run with it.
 
The audio can be fixed much more easily than the camera work. I think if you spent time shoring up the audio, it would make this a tighter piece.
