Small HD502 v.2 and Odyssey 7Q+ v.15.08 compatibility issue?

I have the Sony FS700RH with the Odyssey7Q+ paired with the small HD502. This combo was working great using the Small HD502 with the firmware 1.2 paired with the Odyssey 7Q+ with the 2015.7 firmware. When I updated the firmware of the Small HD502 to v2 then I had no signal from the Odyssey 7Q+ sdi A out. I made sure that the settings were correct on the 502 with having sdi checked for input. The next day Odyssey 7q+ had an update to v.2015.8 which I did. I know the fault probably lies with the small hd502 firmware update but gave it a shot to see what happened. Same problem with no input signal at the 502 even with the updated firmware of the Odyssey 7Q+. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
 
Update.....

I reverted back the update to small hd from v.2 to v1.2 and it works under some conditions. Update small hd to firmware 2 and get the same results. Went into odyssey 7q output settings. Turned lut on or off yields the same results of flickering signal or no signal at all. There seems to only be a signal when you have the mirror oled activated. If you switch it to lut on or off the signal dissapears to the small hd. The camera is in 4K raw 60fps output. Is this a firmware issue for the small hd or odyssey 7q+?

At 2k 240 fps raw to prores 240fps everything works well using the mirrow oled, lut on or lut off settings.
 
Please check the Output settings on the Odyssey and try switching Video PSF Out to On. I don't know if this is the issue but it's worth a try. Curious that you are compatible in some modes but not others.

Please send all of this info to cdsupport@convergent-design.com so that our engineers can try to repeat your findings.

When I first saw your original post on this subject, I alerted our Lab Manager, so he could test our Odyssey7Q+ with a SmallHD 502.

First, he had to upgrade the 502 to the same firmware version that you were using.

I am sorry, but I do not have the results of our tests yet. As soon as I get these, we will post them here.

If we find that this is an Odyssey7Q+ issue, we will find and fix it as soon as practical.

Just to note, when this issue was first reported last month we did some testing. Now both that monitor and the Odyssey have updated firmware so we are testing again.
 
Please note small out of focus monitor on the left side of picture is the Small HD502 with firmware version 2.0 and the in focus 7Q+ has the latest firmware 2015.08

Prior to these issues I had no problems with the Small HD502 firmware version 1.2 and the Odyssey 7Q+ firmware version 2015.07 Additionally I was able to go 4K Raw 60FPS SDI out from the FS700 to SDI In of the first Odyssey 7Q+ at 4K Raw 60 FPS then go SDI out of the 7Q+ to Small HD 502 SDI In then Small HD502 SDI out to the second Odyssey 7Q SDI In at 1080P 422 ProRes and successfully record all simultaneously. Now with the current new firmwares on both the Small HD and the 7Q+ I can't get the second 7Q to accept a proper signal from the Small HD SDI out.
 
Was this issue ever resolved?

I'm currently running an Odyssey 7Q and 502 Sidewinder combo (both on latest firmwares) and they wont connect via SDI loopthrough of the 7Q.
