So I have seen a ton of sample videos and pictures from this rather remarkable lens and I really really really want to buy it but it is nowhere to be found. There are a few rental houses that have them and some prominent internet reviewers that have shot with them but SLR's Ebay page has nothing and as far as I can tell, this lens is vaporware. Anyone know what happened and when if ever this lens will see the light of day?

GREAT lens! I ordered mine through Adorama - took about 3 weeks to get it. They won't charge till it ships and is $20 cheaper with free shipping...

So Adorama is selling them? That is good news, I'm not a big ebay fan so I will probably go through them. SLR seems to have knocked it out of the park with this one. I have a feeling this will be one of the hotest lenses for the GH2.

I'm waiting on one for my AF-100 and GH2. I purchased directly Jan 7th and was told to expect delivery somewhere between Jan 30 and Feb 10th. Funny, I was thinking about this lens and wrote them today to check on the order. Adorama says that they are still out. Maybe they're waiting for the same batch.

LOL!

Yeah right...
I have yet to see adorama actually SHOW stock....
They have not received stock.

Has anyone tried this lens with a follow focus?
It looks very slim, so I'm wondering if there's an adapter ring to suit.

Do you guys think this lens would work good with a Blackbird? I'm looking for something wide but heavier then the 20mm because it is a pain to get it perfectly balanced with a gh2 and 20mm.
