Hey i have just recieved my HVX. Its AWSOME but i have a question. How come when i film in 24p 720i 12fps slow motion and then play it back it doesnt playback in smooth slowmotion? It just looks are jerky and stroby? What can i do to see it in the real smooth slow motion that i am supposed to?

Switch to film mode in the scene menu. Set your frame rate to 60.

In record settings set to 720/24pn.

Record and bring it into a 720/24p timeline

Hey Jamison, just practice, practice and practice with the cam, it takes a while to get a hang of all the settings, but well worth the effort.

Are you in Concord CA? by any chance? - PM me if you are...

Get Barry's HVX book and DVD, it's SO worth the money!

And you can get variable frame rates with 720 non-native mode, too.

Good grammar is important. No one got a job using bad grammar and spelling on an application. It also contributes to the opinion people form of you. It has nothing to do with anyone named Richard, nor genitalia. But then, some folks thing acting ignorant and uneducated is "cool." The day being illiterate becomes "cool" is the day I blow up the planet once and for all.
