C200: Slow motion with the C200

Hello.

I know that with the C200 I can have HD slow motion up to 120/100 fps.

What if I want a 4K slow motion? Can shooting at 50p instead of 25p be an option?

Thank you.

I know, but my editor later complained that the result was not fully satisfying.

In what sense was it not satisfying?, not slow enough ,to difficult to work with?
In my opinion you'll get better results shooting 50p uhd or cinema raw light with shutterspeed of 1/200 than 100p at 1/200 in hd

I think I understand whats being said here as I'm doing some tests and getting a similar feeling at the footage when trying to get the desired effect, what I think needs to be determined is how you shoot slo-mo (correct settings at 4K 60p, shutter angle etc and the 1080p 120fps options) then how we interpret the footage in the NLE as it doesn't seem to be straight forward with what you're supposed to do with the footage.

In Resolve I brought in some footage which was 4K 50p and no mater how I tried to slow it down it was just juddery and that false looking slo-mo (re-timed, changed playback in the timeline, new timeline with different frame rate settings etc). I then took the same footage, converted to pro-res using CRD and put it in FCPX, slowed down by 50% on a 25p timeline and it looked fine and as expected.

I have some 100fps footage and the file is seen as 50p footage slowed down so what re-timing do I need to do to get the smooth 100fps look? I'm guessing 50% again on a 25p timeline but how confusing! lol.

Perhaps I'm being stupid but if anyone has the ideal settings (I should really check the manual) for 4k 50/60p and 1080 100/120fps that would be much appreciated!
