okay you used my clip...what exactly did you do since you don't have access to the original footage how is anyone to know? thanks for taking your time, but this is like me ordering a burger at mcdonalds, adding ranch dressing, and then claiming i made it.
its your clip sorry for not asking to use it but i needed an example to replicate what you did.
Don't worry im not a scumbag and about to claim its my work... all the original documents of the quicktime clip are trashed and off my computer anyways. All i did to it was apply time remapping in AE and changed the levels on it. If you want pm me and ill take it off zippyvideos
no that's not what i'm saying...i'm asking/saying how can anyone tell you did anything because it's the same clip. who can telll you made any change? now i can't say i can see anything because the compression is too extreme. as for the original again that's my point...you're not working with the original clip that doesn't have slow-motion so who will know you did anything?
let me see if i can make the burger analogy better...i make the burger. you get it, take off the pickles, add some pickles of your own, and then say "look what i did!"
because it seriously looks like all you've done is compressed my clip and playing the same thing.
okay the wmv of this original posting is now up...i'm working on the 60i and ask this question or actually i'm questioning this...as you know you can deinterlace 60i and get 60 frames thereby producing slow motion at 50% speed. however by deinterlacing you're losing a field of resolution. so i'm working with bad looking frames. however i will finish just so i can show you something truly ridiculous.
Just followed this post from a link you put up in another thread. This looks pretty cool, thanks for bring this up. I will give it a shot next time I need slo mo.
on another thread an interesting thing came up. it was about using the shutter speed and it hit me...that might even make this procedure better because by adjusting the shutter speed you're getting less blur. and as mentioned above that's what makes the slow mo apps look funny - 3 legs, extra fingers, because they are drawing the blur. well if you can eliminate the blur (with the shutter speed) then you'll have clearer images to work with and perhaps better slo-mo...i haven't done it yet, but that was on my lists of tests.
