Hi, I made a cool finishing clip that was shot in interlace and slowed down 50%. Was shot with Canon 50mm f/1.2 and Tokina 11-16mm. Would be happy to hear what you think.

Thanks Alex! This really shows the capabilities of the C100 including its hidden ability to shoot slomo! Thanks for sharing.

You welcome! I am very happy with the camera, it is perfect for my wedding cinematography work! Well...It would be perfect with 50p :)

**magic lantern** cough ;)

Maybe someday...

There's still that infamous threat from Canon, saying they will sue anyone trying to hack the Cinema line.
I guess we`ll see RAW with the MarkII models of the C300 and C500, so they´'ll want to protect their revenue roadmap...

EDIT: Forgot the most important thing: AWESOME job, sony3000! The last shot is pure GOLD.

fantastic job. did you shoot the whole wedding in 60i?
The whole wedding was shot in 25p, only the last part(finishing clip) was shot in 50i and was slow down 50%.
I do not like slow motion so much but clients love it ;) well some times i like it too, Bayaar venue has amazing lighting and slow motion really made it beautiful.

Great job Alex. Your video plus a Sports video I seen a few days ago here have made my mind up to get a C100 and use 50i for times I need slow motion.

This is amazing cine camera with beautiful image. The problem with 50i is that you can not convert it to 25p, well you can but it not the same as shooting in 50p and then conform to 25p if needed.

Curnsie, Thanks for letting me know, for some reason it does not work for me, probably user error. I did see where it is posted under another thread and it is quite nice.

Really great dance sequence! Did you shoot with 2 Camera's? What was your ISO and f-stop? Were you mostly handheld or on a tripod?

Inspiring stuff.
