This is a slow mo test using a method Jaimebailon posted recently


Not too sure about Vimeo cropping uploaded videos, quality aint great:

One thing that you need to remember to do is switch frame blending off when you adjust the speed within Final Cut.

Other than that, works like a charm. May take it a bit longer, but looks nice.

Never was much of a fan of this method. For starters, it's really easy to see the oscillation between the two fields, and a 1/2000 shutter doesn't mimic the traditional 180 degree or 1/48th shutter. It'd recommend shooting letterbox @ 1/120th shutter then using compressor to crop, resize, and re-time the fields intelligently.

This method works and it's quick/dirty, but I've never been a big fan. Nice shot though.

Yeah, I like the traditional method of shooting film at 300 FPS !
